One does have to wonder though, with the two most abusive males from the forum now gone, who will you turn to as your new master? If you stick to character-finding the person who attacks the most aggressively-you'll have to lock your lips to Bill's asshole now and start drinking from that fountain of abuse. Wrong, most posters here don't have to hestitate and think about what they're going to post....unlike you where you either tag onto someone else's comment with an embarrassed smiley or as I reckon is more the case your finger hovers over the submit button as you quickly proofread your post and mumble to yourself..."will I, wont I, will I".

I figure its time for me to sound off on this subject. I frankly will kinda miss Baller. He was obnoxious, rude, inarticulate, confrontational and generally unpleasant. But on the plus side, he never attacked me nor did I attack him. I usually just sat back and let everyone else sling shit while I enjoyed the show and munched on popcorn and Red Vines. I found ignoring his ignorant rants worked quite well, rather than launching a salvo of big words at him that would only piss him off and give him an excuse to be himself.


In short....I will miss him.

And yes, if she broke the rules, I would ban her. I wouldn't be a very good moderator if I let people get away with it just because I liked them personally. Once I even tried to ban myself! Although you can't, for some odd reason.

But that you or ManBitch are still here (or Stumbler, after he tried to go personal on me) is proof that we work within a specific framework. That you might not like the framework is irrelevant. If we're all a bunch of power-hungry, ban-happy thugs, how is it that you feel safe enough to attack us at your leisure? Simply put, you count on us working within that very framework that you accuse us of not having. Because if we stepped outside of that framework, you and a lot of other people like ManBitch and Stumbler would be gone. Every post you make accusing us of abuse of power is proof that we don't abuse it.

What's very funny is that you're so self-absorbed that you can't see that. Or you do see it but are comfortable being dishonest about it. I'm not exactly sure which is worse, but I'm leading towards the latter. Ignorance can be forgiven, informed dishonesty is contemptible.

Bit selfish, don't you think? It boils down to 'he never attacked me but I liked watching him attack others'. No thought for those other people he berated or threatened? I leave people like me off that list, of course, I would go to the mattresses with him intentionally. But he went after a great many people that didn't deserve it. But that's not what got him banned. He's been doing that for the better part of a decade. What got him banned was the death threats and the threats of physical violence. We don't need that sort of thing and it doesn't make for a good place to have a discussion.

The only leading you do is towards your own self delusion. If you didn't get off on banning Baller16 you'd have kept your mouth shut. It's the only stick in your armoury, the ability to ban, drop the mod title and you are nothing.

My comments are carefully composed. Like a good journalist I always check my facts.

 

All in all, this is a walk in the park for us mods this time around. There was hardly a blip on the radar when TCL was banned. And the blow-back from Baller's ban has been nothing but a mild breeze compared to when Deidre got himself banned. What's funny is most of the people that have chimed in basically agree with the decision. "Yes, he was the class clown and fun to point and laugh at but really, he's better off not here." That seems to be the general consensus. That amuses me immensely.
